K-pop star Taeyang returns to Bangkok

» When Korean popular (K-pop) singer Taeyang announced "Taeyang 2025 Tour [The Light Year] In Bangkok", Thai fans were thrilled since it will be his first solo concert in the country after seven years. Organised by Live Nation Tero, the concert will take place at Impact Arena on Feb 8, 2025.

» One of the biggest K-pop stories in December has been the enlistment of the remaining four members of BTS for mandatory military service. On Dec 11, RM, the leader of BTS, and V, the vocalist, began their enlistment. The following day, two other vocalists, Jimin and Jungkook, entered training camps in Yeoncheon together. As the world's biggest boy band goes on hiatus, it will be interesting to see which rival claims the top spot in the absence of BTS.

» After success in Seoul, Busan, Tokyo, Los Angeles and more recently Hong Kong, the "BTS Exhibition: Proof" will kick off its one-month visit to Bangkok on Thursday and run daily from 10.30am to 10pm until Sept 3. The venue is Icon Art & Culture Space, 8th floor of Iconsiam, Charoen Nakhon Road.
