» 1. July is the month to celebrate diversity. Woof Pack, a group of creators, artists and activists, reflects on the global phenomenon that is June Pride month. They are hosting the LGBT+ Kaleidoscope Through My Lens exhibition. Bringing together a long list of renowned Thai photographers, "Through My Lens" captures the beauty and candour of the Thai LGBT+ community. The photos reflect on societal taboos of nudity and sexuality, exploring the emotions and difficulty of identifying beyond the bounds of gender roles. The exhibition is run until July 22 in the Woof Pack Space located in Sala Daeng.

» 1 Bangkok has been bombarded with an amazing line-up of concerts this year, and for any rockers out there, American industrial metal band Nine Inch Nails (NIN) will be bringing their explosive set to Bangkok on Aug 14 at Lat Phrao's Moonstar Studio. Known for their dark, intense and ferocious music like The Hand That Feeds, Only and Survivalism, the band has won two Grammy's for Best Metal Performance and have sold over 30 million records worldwide. Their live concerts are hailed as a "musical, visual, emotional sensory onslaught" -- and with sold out stadiums in Paris, London, Amsterdam and Las Vegas, fans in Bangkok shouldn't hesitate to buy tickets. A cigarette was lit. And she was content as she talked about her latest achievement. Just last month, she was named among the 50 Asians To Watch by The Straits Times. Among the five people from Thailand that were named, she was the only woman.

» 1. Missed last year’s "The Doraemon Exhibition Tokyo 2017"? No need for tears, as basics giant Uniqlo is bringing one of the designs that was showcased during the exhibition into their stores. Twenty-eight leading Japanese artists were invited to create artworks featuring Doraemon, and Uniqlo is bringing the work of one of the most popular and recognised artists to your closet. Everybody’s favourite robot cat gets floral treatment like you’ve never seen before by everybody’s favourite flowery artist Takashi Murakami. A total of 15 tees will be featuring Doraemon with a splash of Murakami flowers in all colours of the rainbow. There will be a plush toy in the same Murakami style too, but for the traditionalists, check out the line of tees using graphics from the original comics. » 1 The popular American thriller series Westworld has returned for a second season. On this occasion, HBO Asia is treating its fans to a number of activities, including a Maze Game that can be played on a dedicated micro-site (hboasia.com/HBO/shows/westworld). The Maze Game allows fans to explore more of the Westworld universe, while participants have until June 25 to direct the ball to the centre of the maze, with 12 levels to clear. Fans who obtain the 10 top scores will win exclusive Westworld merchandise and prizes.
