LIFE

Espionage, laughs, action abound

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 23/08/2024

» Every year, countless action films hit the screens, each trying to carve out a niche in a crowded genre. Some rely on gripping stories and skilled direction despite featuring lesser-known casts, while others bank on big budgets and star-studded ensembles to mask mediocre scripts.

LIFE

An underwhelming mystery

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 19/07/2024

» Kidnap and ransom are central to many thrillers as they tap into the fear of a loved one disappearing without a trace. This premise forms the core of Vanished Into The Night, an Italian thriller that, despite promising a gripping mystery, ultimately disappoints due to its weak plot and lacklustre execution.

LIFE

Just another generic romcom

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 12/07/2024

» Romantic movies can be delightful, but only when everything comes together harmoniously. A stellar cast can be a significant draw, provided they have a solid script to work with. Unfortunately, more often than not, we end up with disappointment.
