» From May 13 to November 1, 2026, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs presents, under the high patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, the exhibition La Mode en Majesté: Royal Thai Dress From Tradition to Modernity. This event is organised as part of the 340th anniversary of the first diplomatic mission and the 170th anniversary of Franco-Thai diplomatic relations (1856–2026). The exhibition is organised in partnership with The Sustainable Arts and Crafts Institute of Thailand (SACIT), the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles (QSMT), The Royal Thai Embassy in Paris and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD).

» The ATOD International Dance Competition 2026 was proudly supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, the Government Lottery Office, and The Australian Teachers of Dancing International (ATODI). The competition was held in honour of the Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The event was organised under the leadership of Dr. Mom Luang Preeyapun Sridhavat, President of the ATOD Children and Youth Development Association, with the generous support of numerous partners, including Sansha Bangkok, Tao Kae Noi Food & Marketing Public Company Limited, Sikarin Hospital, Channel 3 Thailand, Bangkok’s International Festival of Dance & Music, The Agency College Recruit (AR), Singapore Ballet, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Marlupi Dance Academy, Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., and Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, together with more than 90 international dance institutions worldwide.

“Let’s Green the Sugarcane” campaign drives impact through fresh cane to mills

» Bangkok, March 25, 2026 — One of the key challenges during the production season of the sugarcane and sugar industry is ensuring that sugarcane cultivation goes hand in hand with environmental conservation. Harvesting fresh sugarcane during the harvest period is therefore a critical step that requires cooperation from all sectors. This effort is also a core mission of Mitr Phol Group, a global leader in sustainable food product industries, which remains committed to advancing its goal of creating a healthier and more sustainable environment. During the 2025/2026 crushing season, the company has promoted modern sugarcane farm management while maintaining continuous engagement with farmers through the “Let’s Green the Sugarcane” campaign, a mantra for a sustainable beginning. The campaign has received strong support from government policies and close collaboration with sugarcane farmers, resulting in up to 96% of fresh sugarcane delivered to the mills. At the same time, the initiative helps generate additional income for farmers through the sugarcane leaf purchasing program, now in its eighth consecutive year. The collected cane leaves are used as fuel for biomass power generation, contributing to the production of clean energy from Thailand’s agricultural sector.
