» The Lantern Art Festival 2022 illuminated Samyan Mitrtown's retail space for several weeks last month, displaying a collection of 10 multicoloured enormous lanterns by 10 new-wave illustrators under the theme "Samyan Mitrlight Garden", paying homage to the subtle lifestyles of the inhabitants of nearby Chula 42.

» Members of the Pom Mahakan community gave a tearful farewell to their homes on Sunday, as the historically significant site and its centennial houses will be torn down to make way for a park project backed by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The last structures will be gone by the end of the week.
