» Marking a proud milestone for the Catholic community in Thailand, a high papal honour has been conferred upon Dr Phornthep Phornprapha in recognition of his unwavering dedication and distinguished service to society and the Church. Bestowed personally by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the Knight of the Order of Saint Gregory the Great was presented during a ceremony held recently at Assumption Cathedral in Bangkok, presided over by Archbishop Peter Bryan Wells, Apostolic Nuncio to the Kingdom of Thailand.
