Effective organisations and countries prioritise issues to be attacked in terms of importance, putting the most important first; the Palang Pracharath Party, core of the new government, should do the same instead of focusing on minor items like dress codes for MPs. The PPRP wasn't voters' first choice until election rules were changed after votes had been counted, and took over four months to form a cabinet overflowing with scandal-tainted and/or Thaksin-affiliated faces.

With great sadness we learn of the passing of Gen Prem Tinsulanonda, in my humble opinion, the statesman of the 20th century, a great soldier, a great peacemaker and a great communicator in difficult times, a reconciler who again united the nation and kingdom from its turmoil with communism.
