Prolight + Sound Bangkok 2026 to Debut Next Year

» Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong, in partnership with VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific, has announced the launch of Prolight + Sound Bangkok (PLSB), a new regional platform for the entertainment and professional AV sectors. Scheduled to debut from 30 September to 2 October 2026 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), PLSB will leverage the Thai capital’s strategic position at the heart of Southeast Asia, offering access to a broader consumer market of more than 670 million people.

Bosch Drives Strategy 2030 with Innovation, Resilience

» Stuttgart and Renningen, Germany – The Bosch Group is forging ahead with its ambitious Strategy 2030 to strengthen its competitive position, despite global market challenges that curbed growth in 2024. The technology and services provider posted sales revenue of €90.3 billion, a 1.4% decline year-on-year, or 0.5% after adjusting for exchange rate effects. EBIT from operations stood at €3.1 billion, down from €4.8 billion in 2023, resulting in an EBIT margin of 3.5%.

Thailand Rises as Logistics Hub Amid Global Shifts

» BANGKOK – The Thai Chamber of Commerce highlights that recent U.S. tariff policies are accelerating foreign direct investment (FDI) into Thailand and ASEAN, driving a surge in logistics demand. To capitalise on this momentum, Messe Stuttgart, Koelnmesse, and Thai Intralogistics Association (TIA), joined forces to organise a landmark trade fair: LogiMAT & LogiFOOD Southeast Asia 2025, scheduled to take place from 15–17 October 2025 at BITEC Exhibition and Convention Centre, Bangkok. The event aims to position Thailand as a regional logistics hub and propel Southeast Asia to the forefront of intralogistics. Organisers expect 350 exhibitors from Asia and Europe and more than 7,000 trade visitors.

Next Generation Energy Seminar Drives Sustainable Future

» 'Next Generation Energy', a seminar on energy and sustainability, gathered experts from the flat glass and energy industries. MMI Asia, a subsidiary of Messe München, the world's leading conference and exhibition organiser from Germany, also organises the Glasstech and Fenestration Asia exhibition, expanding the theme of energy and sustainability. MMI Asia hosted the 'Next Generation Energy' seminar on 15th August 2024 at The Botanical House, Rama 9 Road, Bangkok. The seminar covered topics such as Thailand’s journey towards sustainability, fostering green businesses, and the role of the flat glass and façade industries in creating a sustainable future. Keynote speeches were delivered by Dr. Adis Israngkura na Ayudhya, Advisor to the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), and Mr. Watcharin Boonyarit, Director of the Solar Energy Development Division at the Ministry of Energy. The panel discussion featured Dr. Chakkrit Luangcharoenrat, Studio Director of Gensler (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; Mr. Annop Kulwongwanich, Managing Director of B.Grimm Trading Corporation Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Panya Tantisuwichwong, Vice President of the Thai Glass Manufacturers Industry Club, The Federation of Thai Industries, who discussed the glass and façade industry's impact on environmental sustainability.
