Kin salak luang the Phrae way

» Kin salak is a tradition communities in the northern provinces observe to make merit for deceased relatives. It doesn't take place every year, so when it happens it's a big thing for the locals. At the moment, the people of Phrae are excited about their own kin salak luang (luang meaning big), set to take place soon. Of course, all are welcome to witness the grand event.
