» Around 20 years ago, there were only about 4 million elderly in Thailand. Fast-forward to 2014, Thailand saw more than 10 million senior citizens, which accounts for almost 15% of the entire population, according to figures from the National Statistical Office. This simply means our country is an ageing society.
