Most of the crap for sale here, are ok to keep your dinner salad in, nothing else. Even if people were wearing them. But there IS a law on compulsory helmet wear! Often you can see police officers riding their bikes without any kind of protection. They sometimes have road checks and fine people a brittle sum for not wearing helmet and then let them be on their merry way again. Without helmet. I often see here, in the sticks, police officers ignoring people ignoring traffic laws like no helmets, too many on a bike, running a red light, driving against the traffic etc, etc. Why?
