» ม.ขอนแก่น เปิดให้บริการห้องสมุด New Normal ด้วยระบบจองที่นั่งออนไลน์ ลดจำนวนผู้มาใช้บริการจากเดิมมี 2,000 ที่นั่งลดลงเหลือ 150 ที่นั่ง เว้นระยะห่างตามาตรการป้องกันโรค พร้อมปิดทำความสะอาด 3 เวลาเมื่อเวลา 15.30 น. วันที่ 27 พ.ค.2563 ที่สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น หรือ มข. น.ส.จีรภา สิมะจารึก รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักหอสมุด มข.พาผู้สื่อข่าวเยี่ยมชมหอสมุดกลาง ที่เริ่มมีการเปิดให้บริการใหม่อีกครั้ง หลังปิดทำการในช่วงสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดต่อไวรัสโคโรนา หรือโควิด 19 โดยมีการปรับรูปแบบการใช้บริการใหม่ทั้งระบบตามาตรฐานความปลอดภัยด้านสาธารณสุขอย่างเข้มงวดน.ส.จีรภา กล่าวว่า นักศึกษาและผู้ที่จะเข้ารับบริการจะต้องจองที่นั่งออนไลน์มาก่อน ซึ่งเมื่อถึงเวลาที่กำหนดเพียงแค่แสดง Code การจองที่ได้รับต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ จากนั้นเข้ารับการตรวจคัดกรอง ด้วยการวัดตรวจอุณหภูมิ ก่อนเข้าใช้บริการ ซึ่งทุกคนต้องสวมใส่หน้ากากอนามัย ลางเมือด้วยเจลแอลกอฮอล์ที่จัดเตรียมไว้" ในส่วนของที่นั่งสำหรับอ่านหนังสือ หอสมุดกลาง ได้ปรับเปลี่ยนให้มีที่นั่งที่ห่างกันมากขึ้น 1 โต๊ะต่อ 1 คน เว้นระยะห่างให้อยู่ไกลกัน พร้อมติดตั้งฉากใสกั้นบนโต๊ะอ่านหนังสือเพื่อลดความเสี่ยงต่อการแพร่ระบาด อีกทั้งยังจำกัดจำนวนผู้มาใช้บริการ จำนวน 150 ที่นั่งเท่านั้น ซึ่งจากเดิมมีมากกว่า 2,000 ที่นั่ง และให้บริการคนละไม่เกิน 3 ชั่วโมง โดยจะปิดทำความสะอาดพื้นที่ห้องสมุดวันละ 3 รอบ และกำหนดเปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่เวลา 9.00 -16.00 น. ซึ่งจากเดิมเปิดบริการ 24 ชั่วโมง"น.ส.จีรภาพ กล่าวต่ออีกว่า ขณะเดียวกันยังคงให้บริการรับ-ส่งหนังสือแก่นักศึกษาที่ต้องการยืมหนังสือให้ทางไปรษณีย์เช่นเดิม ซึ่งหนังสือทุกเล่มที่ผู้ใช้บริการสัมผัสจะถูกนำมาทำความสะอาดด้วยตู้ฆ่าเชื้อก่อนและหลังให้บริการ โดยภายหลังจากกลับมาเปิดให้บริการอีกครั้งตามมาตรการผ่อนปรนนั้นพบว่านักศึกษาที่มาใช้บริการให้ความร่วมมือเป็นอย่างดีPublished caption :Distance learning Students occupy modified seating areas in the library at Khon Kaen University.
