    Happiness in a book

Life, Parisa Pichitmarn, Published on 16/12/2016

» Can money really buy happiness? What factors in one's childhood ensure one's happiness in adulthood? Do sons or daughters make parents more happy? And why is stress such an enemy to trying to lose weight? Apparently, something as vague as feelings and happiness can be quantifiable and explained, thanks to Salmon Books' recent release How Happiness Works And Why We Behave The Way We Do. Packaged in a bright yellow hue with nothing less than a huge smiley face on the cover, Nattavudh Powdthavee explains the economics of happiness and our feelings in 32 easy-to-digest chapters.

» 1. There's fun for the whole family this Songkran at Megabangna's Mega Splash ... Mega Lanna Happiness. The mall will turn into the ancient Kingdom of Lanna and will be extravagantly decorated with flags and lanterns. Activities at the Sook Jai Zone will feature Lanna-style performances such as Jeng dance, a northern elegant but exhilarating dance that has roots in martial arts. At the Sard Sanook Zone, splash away all the heat at the mobile water park, which will be equipped with a giant water slide and water tunnel. For some retro fun, there will also be a traditional temple fair, with all its old-fashioned ice pops, sugar candy sculptures, shooting galleries and dunk tank girls. Celebrate the festivities at Megabangna from 10am-7pm until tomorrow.

    Timelessness in a bottle

» Considering her lifelong love for cosmetics, Muriel Pujos couldn't have asked for a better job. Based in New York and working for Philosophy, Pujos's latest responsibility has been going on a global tour to unveil the skincare brand's latest serum, which promises to resist, renew and repair the skin for women of all age groups. Aptly named Time In A Bottle, the serum part even lets you have a bit of mad-scientist fun. With a bright-red vial of activator, rich in Himalayan red-rice extract and red-grape-ferment extract to resist tomorrow's signs of ageing, you'll have to pour this liquid into the main serum and shake for 20 seconds before first use. This latest 3D technology ensures the freshness of the product and works even better with their lotion of the same name, when used twice daily. Recently in Bangkok for the launch of Time In A Bottle, the scientific communication director tells us how she runs the world of beauty and science.
