» Sorry (not sorry) fans of loud and colourful activewear, but trendy athletic wear is going back to the basics of moody tones, sharing aesthetics with practical fashion. Muse, Published on 05/11/2016

Their recently released scent, Rose Goldea, is the essence of not only a legendary queen, but also that of a world-famous seductress. Being able to entice two of the most prominent leaders of her time, Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony, Cleopatra's weapons of mass seduction are said to be jewellery and perfume. But one glance at it and you're inside the mind of another person, maybe somebody dead for thousands of years."

    The plight of the stateless

    Life, Published on 14/08/2018

» Thanom's ancestors lived in what was Siamese territory, near Bang Saphan district in Prachuap Khiri Khan, over a century ago. Back then Burma, to the west, was a British colony and people who lived along the border crossed back and forth without much difficulty. When state boundaries were redrawn during the reign of King Rama V, his family was stuck on the other side. As a young man Thanom was a cattle herder, and he travelled around Karen villages to buy cattle and buffaloes and crossed over to sell them on the Thai side. When he started this job, a cow was just 20 baht and a buffalo was 50 baht.

From the Big Apple to the Big Mango

Muse, Parisa Pichitmarn, Published on 26/05/2018

» It's all been there done that on the Cannes Lion advertising award circuit for Kantapon Metheekul. The young creative executive has won many awards, been featured in several publications and has illustrated for a handful of high street and luxury fashion brands -- but that's not his true calling. As someone who loved to draw since he was five, it was only natural that Kantapon's veins throbbed to become a full-time artist -- to draw his own creations and not what others briefed him to. After three years of working for advertising agencies, he packed his bags and headed to New York to become an artist.
