» I Boy, would I be embarrassed if I was an official at the Interior Ministry right now. The whole country has learned (well, those who follow the news anyway) that the ministry's staff basically spend all their work time on Facebook. So much so that Thailand's favourite words - "crackdown" and "ban" - have had to be thrown in to combat this scourge.

» Before we get started, I wanted to pre-emptively apologise to my readers for the times I'll be forced to use the phrase "Girly Berry" in this article. What the heck is a "girly berry" anyway? Is it an effeminate fruit that gets laughed at by all the other crops because it likes to wear frilly dresses and make-up? A type of produce that's overly emotional? A berry that only goes to the bathroom with all its other berry-friends?

» If you printed out every complaint made about immigration services at Suvarnabhumi, you'd probably have enough paper to cover the airport a hundred times over. Common traveller grievances include ridiculously long lines, inadequate staffing, and, god forbid, officers who don't smile in the Land of Smiles.
