» Many Thai Buddhists believe that visiting nine temples in a single day will bring them blessings because nine is an auspicious number. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Lop Buri Office, which also oversees tourism marketing in Chai Nat, is promoting a pilgrimage that stops at nine temples: Wat Khao Phlong, Wat Thammamun Worawihan, Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, Wat Pathumtharam (Nong Bua), Wat Borommathat Worawihan, Wat Song Savoey, the 800-year-old Wat Mahathat, the deserted Wat Karuna and Wat Phra Kaeo.
