» "The first thing that happens when I enter a meeting room is we all laugh and this is before we have even started talking about work yet," Seatapron "Bell" Korwanichakul says of the lovely clients he has been fortunate enough to work with. It should come as no surprise that this amicable artist, better known as Painterbell, is the person behind the wildly loveable and joyful characters John and Lulu. Seatapron first started drawing a blond-haired, French-looking boy and girl for fun five years ago for his Instagram account. Slowly over time, the cuteness of the sibling duo steadily found their fame, with countless brands, ranging from fashion, furniture, communications to toiletries, who sought his cartoons to add a touch of cheer to their products. Today, John and Lulu, along with their friends and other Christmas characters, are decking out the squares and halls of CentralWorld as well as of other 33 branches of Central across the country.

Director Ashutosh Gowariker may have been lauded for his taxing period drama Lagaan, which earned a nomination for the Oscar's Best Foreign Language Film in 2002, but his latest film, Mohenjo Daro, is a clichéd period epic that offers a confused peek into the past of a place that is now a Unesco World Heritage site. I mean, if you want "exotic" costumes, epic sets and a hero-unknowingly-related-to-this-city plot, this is just the thing.

As one of the exclusive projects that celebrate American pop culture and to commemorate Coach's 75th anniversary, the house of leather joins hands with the House of Mouse to create limited-edition bags that play canvas to the world's most famous mouse. With sketches created by Disney's animators, Mickey Mouse sits on the signature glove-tanned leather of totes, bag packs, wallets and messenger bags. Like the previous Peanuts collection, the embossed character at the bottom of the bag is a bit of a blink-and-you'll-miss decoration, but this time, there are bold hang-tags in the shape of Mickey's gloves and face also. If you'd rather proclaim your love more loudly, some bags have the actual Mickey Mouse ear sprouting out from body, which can be spotted a mile away, be it in black or the very red of Mickey's two-buttoned pants. My heaven-sent gift of rapid-fire digestion is a side effect of being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism -- something that has unfortunately been slowing down since I have plummeted deeper into adulthood.
