ยป It was quite an intriguing experience being picked up at an airport by a private speedboat. Never mind that I was in the Maldives, a country I had never before been, standing outside the airport and staring out at the glistening azure Indian Ocean, probably one of the most beautiful visuals I've ever seen in my life. No no, the speedboat marked my departure from reality.
