ยป In 1969, bluesman Mississippi Fred McDowell released an album I Do Not Play No Rock'N'Roll on Capitol Records _ which disappointed traditional blues purists, but inspired young blues rockers like The Rolling Stones. I recently got hold of the 2001 digital reissue of this seminal album and now I know what the fuss was all about. This is one of those albums that every music collection should have.
