» 1. Thursday marks the date of the royal funeral ceremony, the cremation of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Many department stores and convenient stores -- including 7-Eleven -- have come out to announce a temporary cease of operations on that day, in order to encourage all Thai citizens to mourn the loss of their great king. Various government agencies and district offices will also be holding remote ceremonies within their respective areas, to accommodate those who may not be able to travel to the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, such as the burning of funeral flowers at various temples. You can visit kingrama9.bangkokpost.com (or kingrama9.posttoday.com for Thai site) for details such as dress code and travel recommendations to the ceremony site at Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimol Mangkhalaram, or call your local district office to ask about activities in your local area.

    A monster flop

Life, Kanin Srimaneekulroj, Published on 23/10/2015

» Let's be honest for a second here, none of us expected The Last Witch Hunter to be any good. Even with superstars of the calibre of Vin Diesel (Fast And Furious), Rose Leslie (Game Of Thrones), Elijah Wood (The Lord Of The Rings) and Michael Caine (The Dark Knight), it wasn't difficult to tell that this would be another mediocre feature in Hollywood's failing attempt to revitalise the classic monsters of yore for the young, contemporary audience of today, much like the films I Am Frankenstein (2014) and Dracula: Untold (2014).
