» Surachai "Pui" Saengsuwan, L'Officiel Thailand's fashion editor and photographer, is known for his work in various Thai fashion magazines as well as reality competition shows such as The Face and The Face Men Thailand. But you may not know that he has been behind the lens of several photography projects to raise awareness around serious causes. He collaborated with Tom Potisit, also a well-known fashion photographer, to create "Anatomy 101" in 2015 to raise awareness on organ donation. In July last year, he created an online campaign for the Pic-A-Pet4Home shelter where he photographed handsome cadets with their canine friends to raise awareness on dog adoption. We talked to him about his latest project for Down Syndrome Hero Thailand (fb.com/downsyndromeherothailand) to de-stigmatise those who are born with the condition.

As his enthusiasm for all things green grew, he began hosting activities at his learning centre, Ban Jaochai Phak, or Veggie Prince's House, in Lat Prao Soi 71 and now talks at various events to spread his organic farming know-how. He has played instrumental roles in securing a licence to produce True Academy Fantasia, the Thai version of Mexican musical talent show La Academia, and broadcasting rights to major soccer leagues, movies, documentaries and other entertainment programmes. Attaphon also decides what programmes will be broadcast on TrueVisions. The cast of the new season of True Academy Fantasia will be announced on Jun 2, and will be broadcast on TrueVisions, from Jun 28-Sep 19.

» London-born Natalie Scarr grew up in New Zealand and studied communications there. She worked for five years as a journalist, writing for lifestyle, fashion and food publications, before moving to Bangkok nearly two years ago. Besides being a senior editor and account manager at a PR firm in Bangkok, the 27-year-old bubbly foodie has now added hosting a show called Eat Asia to her credentials. Before running Ma:D full time, Gift, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Thammasat University, worked at Changefusion where she was first introduced to the concept of social enterprise and later ran projects for Thai Social Enterprise Offer.
