ยป The fiery red maple foliage on top of Phu Hin Rong Kla gives an exotic backdrop for winter tourism at the national park in Phitsanulok. Phu Hin Rong Kla, once a communist stronghold in the 1970s, has more than 100 maple trees, known in Thai as kuam daeng or fai duan ha. With the temperature dropping to almost 10C on the mountain and the holiday season approaching, tourists are flocking to the area to bask in the cool air.
