» Following last week's spate of horrible road accidents that resulted in a total of four cyclists being killed and several more injured by law-breaking drivers (drunk driving confirmed in one case), the authorities have come up with a genius plan. Top officials at the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Department of Land Transport have reportedly agreed on one thing they think will make the city's streets safer for bikers and everybody else: a cycling licence.

» Using just his mouth and his left hand — the only one he has — Saengcharoen Thongkham adeptly worked a piece of plastic string around a mud crab wielding its powerful claws in a desperate attempt to fight back. It took the skilful crab catcher only a minute to securely tie it up. Amazed onlookers applauded with respect.

Originating on Facebook, where it since has been shared more than 1,600 times, Koki Aki — known as Kamen Rider among some of Bangkok's underprivileged children after visiting them dressed as the motorcycle-driving Japanese superhero — complained about poor service at the airport, especially in regards to taxis.
