Muslims do fit in, though more slowly
News, Gwynne Dyer, Published on 30/04/2018
» 'Every Continental [European] under the age of 40 -- make that 60, if not 75 -- is all but guaranteed to end his days living in an Islamified Europe," wrote polemicist Mark Steyn in 2006. Another way of looking at the horrors of Hiroshima
News, Gwynne Dyer, Published on 26/05/2016
» Today's Hiroshima doesn't give the TV journalists a lot to work with. It's a bustling, mid-sized Japanese city with only few reminders of its destruction by an atomic bomb in 1945. Oped, Gwynne Dyer, Published on 12/07/2023
» When Nato held its annual summit in Brussels two years ago, all 31 presidents and prime ministers of the alliance’s member states dutifully showed up, but their hearts weren’t really in it. France’s President Emmanuel Macron had publicly declared Nato “brain-dead” in 2019, and nobody could find a good reason to disagree.

Soft dictatorship threatens India's democracy
Oped, Gwynne Dyer, Published on 23/06/2023
» We're not surprised when religious zealots in some benighted part of the American heartland ban the teaching of evolution in the local school, but what could have possessed the national government of a grown-up country like India to do the same thing?
