    So into you, Ariana

Life, Parisa Pichitmarn, Published on 22/08/2017

» It's true how beautiful people can do no wrong. They can be doing nothing in front of a screen for 10 minutes and people will still be entranced. That was exactly how Ariana Grande's first concert in Bangkok last Thursday kicked off. With a countdown video of her checking herself out looking pretty, swinging around her hair, interacting with her crew and teasing the audience with "I-can't-hear-you" by leaning her ear in towards the camera.

    Stylishly sleek

» Last month, Michael Kors gave us an inside look into what they've got stocked for the stores this autumn at their preview in Seoul, Korea. It is now of course de rigueur for an influential figure to attend these trips too, and the nation's bombshell actress, Davika Hoorne, was the chosen celebrity from Thailand.

    It's a Triumph!

Life, Parisa Pichitmarn, Published on 21/04/2016

» This spring/summer, swimwear staple Triumph offers three collections of flowers that suit all different types of whimsies. There are feminine and lush florals painted with a watercolour touch which look just as attractive on bikinis or over-sized scarves which can be used as body-wraps. It's generic and a safe bet for all women, but if you require more detail and depth, the Fiesta collection boasts pieces that employ traditional-looking embroidery of hot-hued flowers that line the neckline of all suits and flowy tops.

    Strong, strong, strong

Muse, Parisa Pichitmarn, Published on 19/03/2016

» According to Bangkok Fashion Society’s style forecast for this summer, one of the main trends we’ll be seeing a lot of is #strong. Of course, full-option dressers have been opting for striking and peacocking looks since the dawn of time, but no word quite captures the attitude until #strong came along.

    Farang food with a zapp

Life, Parisa Pichitmarn, Published on 10/07/2015

» In the traffic war zone that is Vibhavadi, it may just be smarter to stick around for a bit to let the gridlocks die down before heading home. Nothing sounds bad about merrymaking after work anyway, especially when there's lots of booze to choose from — wines, cocktails, beer towers galore — and food made to go with it as well.

    The tripping mermaid

Life, Parisa Pichitmarn, Published on 14/05/2015

» If you don't want to prepare for summer by the pool in a girly, sexy or sweet manner, there's the cheeky and kooky option available with Lalalove. Their summer collection, aptly named "Tripping Mermaid", features an electrifying underwater world, where a mermaid makes her way through a bevy of neon jellyfish, coral reefs, cigarettes, octopuses and sea eels. All of the graphics are brought to life by a collaboration with Oh Hatairat, that cool gal who influences the hip-conscious with her big-eyed illustrations, magazine columns and music. Even though she is mostly known as the bassist of the band Futon, her works as an illustrator are also recognisable, with their own eerie femininity.
