It was a surprising question from an eight-year-old and led to a pleasant discussion about the chances people have to seek a perfect life. But the recent controversy over schoolchildren in Ratchaburi and Phetchaburi indulging in sexual activities in public, which very much contradicts Thailand's long-perceived image as a country where children obey their parents and abstinence is held in high esteem, boils down to the parents.
