Conducted with great conviction by veteran RBSO director Vanich Potavanich, The Royal Guards March by HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great began proceedings, followed by the world premiere of The Royal Celebration Overture by Prof Narongrit Dhamabutra, The Moldau symphonic poem by Bedrich Smetana and Symphony No.5 In C Minor by Ludwig van Beethoven. The performance was filmed and aired on national television on July 28.

He has a wonderful way with the Classical period masters in particular, and the recent "Italian Festival In Thailand 2019" concert in the small hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre featured joyous, highly listenable works by Josef Haydn, Ignaz Malzat and Mozart which positively glistened with gusto from beginning to end.
