» Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth instalment in Michael Bay's film franchise, is just bad. It's as simple as that. In the spirit of absolute fairness, however, I must admit that it is also probably the most fun I've had with the franchise in years.

» It's a boundless shame, to say the least, that both Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart will both be making their departures from their respective roles as Wolverine and Professor X after Logan, the 10th entry to their long-running X-Men franchise. Doubly so, since both actors have never been as riveting as they are in Logan, one of the best superhero films ever made, telling a very grounded, personal story about a broken man, not a superhero or larger-than-life symbol. In this regard, Logan elevates itself from a superb superhero film to a superb film, period, one that all superhero films to come should strive to emulate.

» Fitness trackers are the new smartphones these days, with various tech companies seemingly scrambling over each other to release the dominant fitness wearable. The UP3, called the "most advanced way to track your fitness, sleep and heart health" by creator Jawbone, certainly has all the specs you'd expect from a fitness wearable, though whether that supports Jawbone's lofty claims for its flagship device is doubtful at best.
