» I was a little hesitant before going into Pistol, a music biographical drama miniseries, as I wasn't that convinced how the filmmaker is ever going to pull off such a story. The Sex Pistols was no doubt an important group in rock music history, having so much influence on the 70s UK punk movement as well as DIY and indie rock music a few decades later. » It's been nearly two decades since the Star Wars and sci-fi movie fans were introduced to the franchise's prequel trilogy that ended with its third film Revenge Of The Sith in 2005. Fans knew that Anakin Skywalker lost to Obi-Wan Kenobi in the duel battle and left badly wounded. Yet he survived and went on to become Darth Vader, a disciple of the dark side in the original Star Wars trilogy (1977–83). This didn't stop many die-hard fans from frequent discussions and theorising about what happened in between the events of Episode III and Episode IV.

» When they say rock never dies, it's probably because rock music is associated with youth and teenagers. The loud, heavy guitar riffs, intense drum sounds and emotional vocals resonate with adolescents fuelled by hormones, rebelliousness and teen angst. The same goes within the world of cinema, where we see the combination of rock music and teen movies pop up every five or 10 years to appeal to the young generation, from Rock'n'Roll High School (1979), This Is Spinal Tap (1984), Detroit Rock City (1999) and School Of Rock (2003), to name a few.
