By Anonymous, Created on: 18/06/2003, Last updated on: 26/04/2007

» Hello Mr. Rooster ; I moved this discussion to this more appropriate thread. Mr. Rooster wrote : "People are like animals, and their sexual drives will involve some types of pre-marital sex. So prostitution will be there to provide needed service. " The sexual urge is indeed extraordinarily powerful,...

    • Anonymous commented : ned and bring contested in US courts. Recently, a homosexual couple won the court case in Texas regarding to their privacy rights in their bedroom. A man is suiting for the right of polygamy for the a US state to lift their laws against polygamy. He is claiming his privacy right to make personal contracts with his wives and his god. Since Thailand and Thai women seemed to follow western and modern social fades, Thais might want to take a good look at their old culture. There are some quality to those old Thai family traditions that could keep our families together if we would become less selfish and thinking of family.

Marry in Thailand 1st then Apply for Immigrant Visa to USA

By Anonymous, Created on: 15/05/2004, Last updated on: 23/09/2007

» I'm an US citizen living here in Northern California. I plan to get married sometime next year in Thailand to a Thai woman who works as a registered nurse, as she plans on moving here in the US afterwards. I researched the US consulate in Bangkok and US Immigration (USCIS.gov) and sort of understand...

    • Anonymous commented : s tricky and you must check a court judgement or must meet the child's biological father if the birth cetificate carries a father's name. Many women had child from incidental, occassional, natural reason with a or multiple males not only with a legitimate husband with divorce certificate. You must be read by a lawyors on all these documets of Thai language. Many women tries to fabricate or make up the document with conspiracy with registration officials with bribe. Taking a woman overseas is not a big deal but taking her child must be very careful otherwise you will be later accused of child traffickers by the real father of the child. I have recently seen a case that a Thai female tried to smuggle out two children to adoption to an american fiancees and all documentations and travel was on procedure duly by the new man's financial and document support. Later they were caught by the children's father and he accused all of them including the female mother, sister into Thai court and take legal formality through American embassy to catch New York Thai agent, the fiancee. He put the heaviest accusation to all "Human Trafficking and violations on Thai family related laws" which subject to 5 years jail terms including the female mother who received dowry from the old husband and new husband. This is a tragedy but you will not repeat again.

    • Anonymous commented : our marriage. Otherwise Thai court always favor Thai people and rule your marriage is MOKA (nullifying marriage). However the best bondage is how strong your bride is bound to you. Girl is girl. If they feel they are loved tightly and securely by you, they do not leave you. They reject their parents and try to raise new family, you and your children. This is the real humane face and what all of us pursue.

    • Anonymous commented : , which is usually 50-50. US court will accept foreign marriage certificate. However, I do not think that he has anything other than his unpaid car title. He is free to marry anybody in the USA since there is no record of his marriage there. This is one reason that I have never tell anybody to marry in Thailand with foreigners unless they are planning to live in Thailand.

    British Embassy in Bangkok

By Anonymous, Created on: 05/10/2004, Last updated on: 25/02/2011

» In March, my Thai partner wanted to visit me in London. Before granting a visa, the Embassy wanted a mountain of paperwork including proof of my income, whether or not I woned my own home and a whole lot of other things. At this stage, I have to say that we have many controversial issues in the UK...

    • Anonymous commented : Yes, what a brilliant idea, take them to the High Courts and sue them all. Unfortunately we are all banging our heads against the concrete wall around the Embassy. It is only the whim of the ECO which gets you the visa or not. NOT as in our case twice now. MPs too have no status out there, as I have found to my cost. I wonder who has ever got a visa successfully and what the hell you have to do to get one.

    • Anonymous commented : nnot leave here myself due to court orders, etc. etc. Even her position did not excuse us from the ECO infering that she was a prostitute and that the marriage was not subsisting. So, I ask you all, now doesn't that just blow your prejudices straight out of the window? Listen, each case if different and who says you cannot fall for a bar girl and get ripped off if you want? We're all adults and if that's what floats your boat then who are we to judge and take the moral high ground. It matters not, you will all be dealt the same blow when you sit before the ECO. Its a big game really, more of luck and cunning than sincerity and justice. Why not all get together, outside the Tribunal (88 Rosebery Ave., London. EC1) and hold against your chests a picture of your spouse/partner. A bit of news coverage goes a long way to highlight this sort of injustice. As a 'founding' member of Fathers 4 Justice, I know this sort of campaign works - it just depends how eager you all are to make it work. Maybe apathy will rule as usual! I'll be there on the 16th January 2006 at 10am. Maybe see some of you there...? Good Luck

stereotype towards interracial marriage in Thailand

By Anonymous, Created on: 26/11/2004, Last updated on: 01/01/2008

» I am a Thai man born and grew up in Bangkok educated overseas totally disagree with the stereotype. On the contrary, I have always admired and respected those indigenous Thais women whose dark brown - tan skin blessed by the nature from their hard works shouldering gracefully to their parents’...

    • Anonymous commented : for it by the police and the court systems it will just give other parents the freedom to continue this without fear of recourse. I donot believe all thai men cheat as I met many doting married thai men who reall loved their wives. I believe that being faithful is to be judged by each men individually not by religion or race. So if she is in love with a thai man they should be given a chance as love doesnt know age, color or race :)

    • Anonymous commented : less she bring the case to US court. It would become problem if he decided to marry another Thai girl in Thailand. I would recommend that he should not register his marriage in Thailand again. I doubt that she will get a fiance visa if she tells US Embassy that she worked at a kareoke bar.

» can any one advise me the following matter. a friend of mine will be getting married to his thai fiancee in 12 days time in thailand. what i would like to know is if the marriage should sadly break down and then his wife goes back to thailand after say they have lived in england for about 6 months...

    • Anonymous commented : Under Thai law it takes two years for a woman to divorce a man. At least so I've been told by a farang who divorced. Under Australian law, since 1996, all overseas marriages - for purposes of division of property, access rights to children, access to social security, etc. - have to be - re-registered in Australia, as part of the immigration process. If not they're simply recognised as an "overseas marriage" - nice : but few legal rights. I imagine it's pretty similiar in UK. Would be surprised if she could get much of his assets after such a short stay. A Filipino bar-girl severeal years back went to Britain's High Court in pursuit of her deceased aristocratic husband's estate, but came away with virtually nothing.

» I am a 30 year ole optician from london who has met a girl while on holiday in thailand. I am going back out there to see her in may, what sort of complications are there going to be in bringigng her back to the uk? I assume marriage is a given.

    • Anonymous commented : ced in may 2005 , she went to court with an interpreter claiming she couldnt talk or understand any english , she made up very cruel lies about me , she was given legal aid , while i had to pay thousands for my solicitor . i had to give her £ 10,000 settlement . she is now back in thailand . i dont hate her , i hate being made to feel like a complete idiot and being ripped of by my own countries legal system . THINK before you marry a thai , because once they step foot in england , they have more rights then you and they can make up many lies about you .
