The Unicef executive director was recently in Thailand, and the success stories of the country through years of governmental policies and support from other agencies couldn't fail to put a smile on her face: the country has almost a 100% rate of birth and healthcare registration, access to clean drinking water, sanitation and primary-school attendance.
