» Thirteen years ago, Apartmentkhunpa was born out of the debris of legendary indie rock bands Siam Secret Service and Araija. We thought the new outfit wouldn't last for long, but four full-length albums, countless collaborative work across all disciplines and 13 years later, Tul Waitoonkiat (vocals), Piyanart Jotikasthira (guitar), Gun Rujinarong (guitar), Pukan Sunsuriya (bass) and Tassarerk Limsila (drums) are still doing what they do best: making music and playing to still-growing, appreciative crowds.

But in the decade since, it has steadily gained a stronghold on the grassroots country music genre, and given it a facelift _ in terms of presentation, sound manipulation and content _ in the process. The offshoot currently houses more than 90 solo artists and groups _ the biggest stars of the luk thung circuit among them.
