» Even though he is responsible for curating all performances and art pieces that have been showcasing at "Unfolding Kafka Festival", dancer and choreographer Jitti Chompee has had limited exposure when it comes to actual works of the literature's icon. He doesn't want to just focus on the text of Franz Kafka but to extend the interpretation of his work, which is what the festival revolves around.

» Every day, Phra Pisit Siriwathatano would leave his temple at dawn to conduct a daily alms round in his neighbourhood of Nonthaburi. Taking about two hours, the monk later returned to the monastery with a full alms bowl and a large sack filled with food offerings from Buddhist laymen and laywomen. Sometimes, people would also visit the temple to offer lunch to him and other monks.

» It's been a few months since Manop Guntanong lost his two-year-old pug Bulboo to a blood disease. As sad as it was, Manop and his family also faced a dilemma when the staff at Prasu Arthon Animal Hospital of Mahidol University -- a place Bulboo received treatment -- asked if they could have Bulboo's body as their ajarn yai. As with humans, ajarn yai (literally means "the headmaster") here refers to cadavers that are used for the anatomical study to further the knowledge of medical students or, in this case, veterinary students.
