» Thailand's GranMonte Vineyard and Winery swept up multiple awards at the 2014 Austrian Wine Challenge (AWC) Vienna. GranMonte's The Orient Syrah 2011, the full-bodied and robust red wine made from 100% Syrah grapes, was awarded the gold medal. Asoke Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah 2010, Heritage Syrah Viognier 2013, Sakuna Syrah Rosé 2013 and Spring Syrah 2013 each took home silver medals. Eight other GranMonte wines earned seals of approval at the competition.
