ยป In last week's Green Fingers, I mentioned that my friend, who lives in California, said that US farm owners hired flocks of sheep to graze on their farms. "It's cheaper than hiring workers to clear the land of grass," he said. I thought he was pulling my leg, but just because the practice is unheard of in Thailand does not mean it's implausible. I just read that Google hires 200 goats regularly to chew away grass in its lawns rather than use lawnmowers.
