New airport

» Koh Phangan Airport is expected to be completed next year. Owned by Kannithi Aviation Company, owner of domestic airline Kan Air, the airport is located in Ban Tai. In May, Ban Tai Municipality approved the plan to built airport facilities on a 52 rai plot. The runway will be 1,100m long and 45m wide to serve aircraft with up to 70 passengers. About 3 rai will be used as a passenger terminal.
