    » 1 Art gallery, bar and tattoo shop Maison Close BKK will be hosting a special art exhibition, Ero Guro, at their venue tonight, 8pm. It will focus on the Japanese artistic movement of "ero guro", which uses grotesque images of spirits and sexuality to portray eroticism, sexual corruption and decadence. The movement began in Japan in the 1930s. The exhibition will feature works from some of the best contemporary ero-guro artists, including Toshio Saeki, Suehiro Maruo and more.

But with their own TV, anime and manga series, as well as the record for "highest selling musical act in Japan in terms of singles sold", AKB48, with 48 members, are a long-standing Japanese idol girl-group known for their super-cute style and catchy tunes. It has been described as a national phenomenon in its country of origin, with a devoted fanbase that has followed the band's songs and merchandise since its inception over a decade ago in 2005.

    » 1. PABLO, the famous Japanese cheese tart brand from Osaka, Japan, recently launched their new PABLO x MAMUANG line of products, a collaboration with the well-known Thai cartoon Mamuang Chan. The featured products in the collection include a mango-purée filled cheese tart (475 baht a piece), the "mini mango" mini tart (95 baht a piece) and a special umbrella designed by the illustrator who created Mamuang Chan. These special products will only be available until Sept 14, and can be found at PABLO branches in CentralPlaza Lardprao and Siam Paragon.
