By Anonymous, Created on: 01/01/2008, Last updated on: 17/04/2010

» I have been several times visiting my girlfriend’s village in Isarn, near Mukdahan. First time I was there I felt in love with the place and immediately wanted to build a house and spend part of my time living there. The place appeared to me so nice and authentic, the rice fields, the vegetation,...

    • Anonymous commented : ent with minimum paperworks. EC will have to be modernized and online voting and early voting processes are the future; this would take away powers from so called high authorities.

    Where did they all go????

» Nope, this is not about missing persons from various protests over the years, but rather Court cases. Here is a tiny list: 1. The 2-3 digit lottery case with about 50 people involved 2. The donation case to the Dem party 3. The airport case (PAD) 4. The GH case (PAD) 5. The civilian damage cases...

    • SARDINES commented : 8. Charges pending with the EC on Suthep's violation of giving scholarships in the South during the elections? That should be a red card with disolution of the Party. EC originally didn't even touch the case till PT pushed the case.

    • Chris-TH commented : ses are emerging: We have an EC case against Suthep, the Thaksin assets case, and the PAD case(s). What wonders me a bit about the PAD case(s) is that the PAD lawyer has requested the police to interview more people. I thought that witnesses were presented in court and no to the institution that are about to press charges.

(which if things have gone the direction that they have, he might be let off... but let's see). However, since this is a local election for a local post, even if found guilty there will no need to be a party disolution. SARDINES

    Counter Corruption Act B.E. 2542

By Chris-TH, Created on: 19/06/2009, Last updated on: 01/07/2009

» Well, it seems that the Section 100 (3) "ghost" has appeared again. Just a reminder: "(3) being a concessionaire or continuing to hold a concession from the State, State agency, State enterprise or local administration or being a party to a contract of a directly or indirectly monopolistic...

    • Chris-TH commented : omework" and as such the EC decision was made on the Senators first. Secondly the law became an international issue when it was used to convict a person without proff of ill intent. And the Thai authorities have knocked on all the doors in this world, explaining that it is not the intent that matters, but the fact that you break a law. That makes Abby look a bit stupid I would say??? (and I find the affected people, especially the Ministers, completely nuts. They read the verdict last year, that was based on "Moral and Ethics", and then they dont dispose of such share holdings before they take office!!!!!).

    • Ian commented : he wants to he can ignore an EC ruling.
