The ambience around the student centre building at a Nairobi university was dormant and calm, except a training kitchen where groups of young people, all wearing aprons and caps, busily made a dish. As part of Thailand's celebration of Unesco's recognition of the royal glass-plate negatives as a Memory of the World, the exhibition "Flaunting The Past Photos" takes place at Somdet Phra Narai National Museum in Lop Buri starting today.
