» Bangpa-in Cogeneration Limited (BIC), a subsidiary company of CK Power Public Company Limited (CKP), has received the CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2025 from the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, for the fourth consecutive year, reflecting its continued commitment to conducting business responsibly while creating tangible social, community, and environmental benefits. BIC received the award in recognition of its "Khlong Suay Nam Sai: Khlong Sai Community Cares for the Environment” project, carried out in collaboration with the Ban Khlong Sai community with a focus on environmental stewardship. The project involved the installation of solar-powered aeration systems for water treatment, enabling the community to utilize water for both domestic and agriculture purposes. It also promoted a knowledge transfer on renewable energy, as well as the conservation and restoration of natural resources and the environment. On the occasion, Mr Anuwat Sasakul, the operation manager, represented the company in receiving the award from Ms Araya Sailaphet, deputy director-general of the Department of Industrial Works (DIW), at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

The accolades include an edie Award in the Water, Waste, and Resource Efficiency category, widely regarded as the United Kingdom’s biggest sustainability awards, and a Highly Commends distinction in the SDG Pioneer Award category at the Reuters Global Sustainability Awards 2025. The recognitions underscore the project’s decade-long commitment to water stewardship, biodiversity restoration and community empowerment. In addition, Khanom Jeen Canal, under the “Nestlé Waters Cares for Water” project, has been officially certified by the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment as an Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs) site in Thailand.
