» In the southwest of Phnom Penh lies the region's largest surviving rainforest. After landing, I met other travel companions to spend three nights together at a riverside camp. We were split into two vans and headed for Sihanoukville. Downtown shophouses and heavy traffic gave way to lush scenery. No sooner had the hustle faded into the distance than rice paddies, palm trees and mountains came into sight. Here, Cambodia's nature remains undisturbed. In more or less two hours, we arrived at the camp depot.

» Three-wheeled vehicles, or tuk-tuks as they are known, are popular among tourists in Thailand due to their distinctive appearance and ability to provide a unique local experience. However, when start-up company Urban Mobility Tech (UMT) surveyed the pain points of passengers in Bangkok using public transportation, they responded that tuk-tuks did not have a standard price and the vehicles created noise and air pollution. In 2017, UMT decided to launch Muvmi, an electric tuk-tuk company, to provide an environmentally friendly and safe public transportation option to Bangkokians.

» Amateur photographer Thamarong Wanarithikul spent his Saturdays on a footbridge capturing eye-catching vehicles. His photos show common scenes people see on the streets but do not take time to scrutinise. Photos of a truck decorated with lights on its front, a three-wheeled motorcycle carrying various sizes of brooms and motorcycles carrying things like tyres, orange traffic cones and fruits in plastic bags are showcased at the exhibition "Footbridge" at 6060 Arts Space. The highlight of the photo series is colourful Vespas carrying various loads, which recently scooped Silver Winner at the Tokyo International Photo Contest 2021.
