» While you may already know about Shallow News in Depth — a very popular satirical news recap show on internet-based SpokeDark TV — and its co-hosts John Winyu and Por Mor, there's another person who's been very instrumental to its success. Her name is Janya "Rosie" Wongsurawat, John's older sister and Por Mor's wife, who graduated from Thammasat's Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication. As the show's producer and SpokeDark's co-founder, she's the brains behind its many popular shows. We talked with Rosie about SpokeDark's origins and its new show, her thoughts on the government's efforts to regulate the media and, most importantly, her favourite quote by Uncle Tu.

» Somsak "Pai" Boonkam is the founder and CEO of Local Alike (http://fb.com/LocalAlike), although he does prefer the title social worker, as this describes what he does through his noted social enterprise more accurately. Through various trips and travel packages arranged by Local Alike, he has connected travellers with various local communities to create a unique travel experience based on the concept of community-based tourism. Chanasinj "Sunny" Sachdev, Kraftka's co-founder and owner, puts a new spin on footwear by offering a platform for sneakers enthusiasts to be both creators and collectors. We first knew Sunny as a co-creator of American-style comic books The Roach but he has also been the creative mind behind many projects. » "Bangkok Car Free Day 2015" will take place on Sunday (Sep 20). "Car free days" are organised in different cities around the world to encourage people to get around without cars, and instead use mass transit, cycle or walk. To commemorate this year's car-free day, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration encourages you to join its bike rally and street fair near Sanam Luang, using public transport to get there.
