Online picnic

Guru, Pornchai Sereemongkonpol, Published on 15/04/2016

» American Luke Cassady-Dorion is a Bangkok-based yoga teacher, filmmaker and co-founder of Picnicly — a popular website focusing on fun, upbeat and inspiring content by a group of Thai and foreign creators. They made a name for themselves early on by working with five young hosts from five different countries who all speak Thai fluently. Since then they've expanded to include content about fashion, culture & language (expats reciting Bangkok's full name), food hacks (how to make a grilled cheese with an iron), yoga and other things that appeal to Thai Millennials. They publish a mix of written and video content daily on their site at www.picnic.ly. On the occasion of Picnicly's first anniversary, we sat down with Luke to talk about its origin and where it's heading.
