» Singapore's Odette retained its No.1 spot on the 2020 Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list, which was live streamed at 3pm (Bangkok time) on Tuesday. For the second year, Singapore took top honours of the coveted dual titles of The Best Restaurant in Asia and The Best Restaurant in Singapore.

» Sri Lanka's famed Ministry Of Crab has quite a following. Small wonder when it's been on Asia's 50 Best Restaurant list since 2015 (No.35 in 2019). It's fair to say, they take crab pretty seriously there. Indeed, Ministry of Crab has its own constitution with eight "amendments" paying homage to Sri Lanka's iconic lagoon crab.

» The one place I have been to almost every couple of months last year is Phuket. (I am sure, you've noticed). Has this put me off the island? No. Simply because each visit has been a different experience. Though this isn't my first stay at The Nai Harn Phuket, nothing about it gets old -- not the sun, not the sand, not the sea and definitely not the views.
