PIM Unveils Modern Business Entrepreneurship Program

» Panyapiwat Institute of Management's International College has revamped its former Modern Trade Management (International Program) to foster startup entrepreneurs and future-ready skills with a global focus. This 3.5-year Business Administration Program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to become "Modern Business Inno-preneurs" – sustainable and socially responsible entrepreneurs who can thrive in the ever-changing global business landscape. The program emphasises adaptability, flexibility, and the application of diverse knowledge to meet the demands of future businesses, particularly in the green business sector. Students will learn to design sustainable business models and compete on an international level. The curriculum is designed to create an "eco-system" at each level, providing students with a simulated environment to develop their skills, knowledge, and business acumen. This approach encourages self-discovery and empowers students to find their own path to success.

Carbon Markets Club Discusses Voluntary Carbon Market Engagement

» Gloyta Nathalang, Acting Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, Chairperson of Carbon Markets Club, and Chairperson of the Carbon Markets Subcommittee, Thailand Carbon Neutral Network (TCCN), was invited as the moderator and a panellist at the 14th Asia-Pacific Carbon Markets Roundtable (APCMR) on the topic “Public-Private Engagement in Voluntary Carbon Market.” The event took place at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld. Other panellists included Worrawat Sriyook, Director of Corporate Sustainability Management, Mitr Phol Sugar Corporation Limited; Dr. Thanapong Duangmanee, Director of Environmental Policy, Mae Fah Luang Foundation; Dr. Karin Boonlertvanich, Executive Vice President, Kasikornbank; and Dr. Savanit Boonyasuwat Srilerdfah, a representative of the BCG taskforce, Thai Federation of Thai Industries. The panellists reflected on their experiences as sellers, buyers, carbon credit project developers, and enablers of Thailand's carbon market development.
