» Mary Shelley would be rolling in her grave if she knew about a real school that teaches students how to make monsters. OK, perhaps students at the Make Up Arts and Technique School at Wang Thonglang (near Rajamangala Stadium) aren't going grave-digging at night to find the body parts they need, but they do spend weeks, sometimes nearly a month, making purposely messed-up facial parts from scratch.

Since its conception in Japan in 2001, Be@rbrick has collaborated with hundreds of artists, brands, and companies from all over the world to produce thousands of teddy bear-shaped models with unique looks and personalities. It is these infinite possibilities, made from a variety of materials, including wood, felt and rubber, that keep Be@rbrick alive among its global fan base. Guru talked to a few fans at last week's grand opening of the Be@rbrick World Wide Tour II in Bangkok.
