Bangchak Drives Youth Environmental Initiatives

» Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited regenerates the new generation by supporting youth participation in environmental conservation and fostering sustainable development skills during the week of World Environment Day. On 5 June 2024, Gloyta Nathalang, Acting Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, participated in the opening ceremony of Thai Youths for Environmental Conservation and launched Environmental Education Unit Year 2 organised by the Environmental and Social Foundation (ESF). The ceremony was presided over by Surasak Phancharoenworakul, Deputy Minister of Education, along with Karom Phonphonklang, Deputy Government Spokesman, Alongkot Chukaew, Director of the Environmental and Social Foundation, Veena Upadhyay, Director of the Environmental and Social Foundation, students, and Youth Wildlife Guardians at the event at Amari Watergate Hotel.

This aims to attract foreign tourists, which the latest expansion has seen the partnering with 16 leading airlines, international payment platforms, and leading international travel websites to offer remarkable experiences and super special privileges, beyond any other offers for foreign tourists, at The Mall Group’s department stores. The collaboration is targeted to attract foreign tourists during June to August, which for many countries is the summer holiday period for schools.
Bangchak to Stabilize Palm Oil Prices with B100

» Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, announced that in response to proposed solutions from the Department of Internal Trade to tackle declining palm oil prices, the company is poised to procure B100 at the standardised price set by the Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) through BBGI Corporation, a major player in the biofuel industry and an affiliate of the Bangchak Group. BBGI will procure crude palm oil from extraction plants at a standardised price set by the Department of Internal Trade, in alignment with oil palm prices. This initiative aims to bolster support for farmers and promote the adoption of environmentally friendly energy sources.
