Bangokian chat-up lines

Guru, Jarupat Buranastidporn, Published on 03/06/2016

» Welcome to the first Friday of June. In other words, holy sh** we’re half way through the calendar year. More often than not, this is where most people reach breaking point. To health and delicious possibilities

» Gin was what came to mind when I first heard of Tonic. And as ironic as it sounds, I was rather glad to find healthy food on the menu instead of some strange infused-beverage crafted by a good looking bearded hipster. And 11am seems a bit early to start drinking on the job, even for me.

» Plenty of beef lovers out there will understand it when we say that not many things in life could ever amount to the satisfaction of tucking into a piece of steak cooked to your absolute liking. » With Trump setting his sights on building a gigantic wall across the US border to keep out illegal immigrants, Clinton fighting to be the first female president and Cameron scratching his head over the Brexit biscuit, what is currently on our leader's mind, you might ask? Why, setting up a re-education camp for frequent government critics, of course.

Maki Munchies

» My initial thought upon hearing about Thailand's first sushi burrito was, "What has this world come to?" Next thing you know it'll be pla ra popcorn, pad thai burger and ramen pizza on the fad list. The art of being a Bangkokian

Guru, Jarupat Buranastidporn, Published on 22/04/2016

» Despite the common perception that Bangkok is one of the most exciting and convenient of cities to live in, surviving this concrete jungle requires its inhabitants have far more than thick skin and a love for shopping malls. This entails a certain know-how, a knack of knowing-how-to-get-s***-done, or as we like to call it, the art of being a Bangkokian.
