'Kaeng Som' A thai culinary classic

B Magazine, Suthon Sukphisit, Published on 01/04/2012

» Authentic Thai food has its origins in simplicity, made from ingredients that were close at hand. Preparation was simple and did not take much time, and the dishes were served as soon as they were ready. If a number of dishes were to be eaten at the same time, the meal became special. That was the character of Thai cuisine in its original form, and one dish that remains a favourite today is kaeng som.

Teaching the dead

Kangsadarn Suksomstarn, Published on 30/03/2012

» Dead bodies being bestowed with songs, poetry and education aren't what the average art exhibition has in store. B Magazine, Kritini Upayokin, Published on 11/03/2012

» It's a sunny Saturday afternoon, only five days before the opening of the film that is meant to mark his comeback following the paternity controversy that has dogged him for months and Rattapoom ''Film'' Tokongsub sits at the Windmill Summit Golf Club sipping watermelon smoothies. That's one way to liven up parliament

News, Roger Crutchley, Published on 04/03/2012

» There has been some discussion recently concerning sobriety, or rather the alleged lack of it, in the Thai parliament. It was even suggested that MPs should line up to take a breathalyser test before they can enter the hallowed talking shop. What a splendid sight that would be. Mind you, if they had such a test in the British parliament they would never get a quorum.
