AIA Hosts AIA One Billion Trail 2024 in Chiang Mai

» AIA Thailand continues to champion healthier and more sustainable lifestyles for Thais and people in Asia Pacific by hosting the AIA One Billion Trail 2024, a four-person team trail run, now in its third consecutive year. The event was held along the beautiful natural route from Doi Inthanon to Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, with race categories of 100, 50, 25, and 10 kilometres, during 22-24 November 2024. This year’s race saw the participation of 300 teams, who not only joined the trail run but also collectively raised funds for the Thai Red Cross Society, contributing to the Thai language literacy project with already over 10 million baht raised over the past three years. This event embodies the mission of AIA One Billion, AIA’s commitment to supporting healthier lives throughout the Asia Pacific region.

» AIA Thailand organised the “AIA Healthiest Schools Award Ceremony” for the second year, awarding 26 winning schools from a total of 91 entries across primary and secondary levels. At the ceremony held on June 25, Police General Permpoon Chidchob, the Minister of Education, served as chairman, with notable attendees including education leaders and representatives from the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), and Dr. Jakknit Kananurak, Vice President of the Digital Manpower Development Promotion Department.
